Weekend memories...

Oh what fun we have had this last week. Annabelle is loving her "real life" baby doll! Poor Molly. I love this pic of the girls. Annabelle is feeding her goldfish...I was able to grab it out of her lips before any damage was done! She gets lots of extra hugs and kisses from Annabelle.


Ellie and Aunt KK came in town this weekend. This is a serious love/hate relationship. They can't wait to see each other and they "have" to wear the same things. I think it's great!


Uncle Mike joined Annabelle and I out to the aquarium on Valentine's Day. It was packed...who goes to the aquarium on Valentine's day?!? Glad I have a pass so we can go anytime!


Annabelle is amazing . Especially how I can tell her once and then she gets it. She loves music. We are still looking for the perfect princess song to dance to, we go through quite a few CD's and dace to all of them!

The snake...

Annabelle had made this paper plate snake and I thought we were done playing with the thing so I threw it away... She looked in the trash for something and all she could say over and over with tears streaming down her face is," mommy, you threw away my snake????" What could I do but take the thing out! Here she is, happy to have it back.

Molly is sitting up and cooing...getting so big. It's amazing how fast the grow up. I know I say that just about every time but seriously...

Syd is staying busy, working all the time and practing for winterguard competitions in her off time. We miss hanging out with her more!

Her first laugh

Oh... how great a day it was. My sweet little Molly laughed for the first time today. I don't have a picture, only the memory. Kev, Annabelle, Molly, and I went for a "nature" walk and then out to the back yard to play for jus a wittle bit (as Annabelle says). We followed her over to the trampoline where she and Daddy jumped. Then Annabelle asked Daddy to get down and she wanted me to jump with her for a bit. Kev put Molly on the side of the trampoline so she could feel like a big girl and bounce with us. Annabelle and I were giggling and then we heard it...or did we? Kev and I looked at each other and sure enough, it was a laugh. Her little face was priceless. She smiled off to the side, her tongue stuck out just a little and she laughed. What a blessing! Kev made the comment he was glad he was there to hear it, and it just reminded me of how fast time goes by...
Wow, time goes by. Are we making the most of it? I'm in a bible study where we are walking through the Psalms. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in a routine. Not going anywhere...or maybe just a circle, because I am so focused on my circumstances that nothing ever changes. But in Psalms we are told look up at the One enthroned. I picture it like a little girl looking up to her daddy. The moment we look up to Him is when things can change for us.
This is a Beth Moore study, she is so good at putting things into "anybody" terms. I have understood so much more of the bible because of the way she is able to communicate.
What a blessing! I totally recommend taking a study of hers when you can. Your life will be enriched.

My peanut-butter... The friend that keeps hanging around like peanut butter in a dogs mouth :) Oh friend, we are getting old! Thanks for hanging in there with me over the years...

I am so thankful for all my friends, new and old :) How great is it to have ladies that you can count on to be there no matter what. That love you even when you are feeling yucky on the inside and being nasty on the outside. What would I do without each of you?!?

I am thankful most of all for my sweet Jesus, who gives me grace and kindness. He wraps me in His arms and comforts me. What a relief it is to know Him. How I pray for you to have a personal relationship with Him, to know what it is like to have true freedom and the burdens of the world lifted off your shoulders. Thank you Lord.

I'm Doing it!!

AGGGGGHHHHHHHH!! So frusteratin'!!
So, I really feel that for the most part, I am savvy when it comes to the computer...however that has now gone out the window.

I'm the biggest nerd. I can't figure out how to put my words before the picture...I hope this works.

The little ladies

Annabelle loves to help out all she can with Molly, which has been a blessing and a curse! She helps change her diaper and tries to calm her by sticking her fingers in Molly's mouth... Sometimes I feel that all I say is "no, please" or "gentle". I wonder if they have something that will repeat words over and over, just at the touch of a button!?

Ok, so I have totally not had time to write and catch peeps up... Here's what we have been up to lately:

December:

• Mike, my brother, moved in with us for a few months.
• Kristy and family came to stay forever...I mean 10 days ;)

Jan:

• Annabelle started dance class, she has been enjoying it, although I think we are going to just have her dance in a leotard and no skirt...it always ends up around her neck or ankles.
• Molly has started to smile and hold her head up. At her 3 mo. check up she weighed 12.8 lbs. she is growing like a little weed! Cooing tons!

Feb:

• Molly is sleeping through the night!! Well for the last 3 nights anyway..I'll take what I can get!
• Annabelle continues to crack me up with things she says.
• We have ALL been sick, I think it is done...I pray it is done!

I am hoping to keep up better with this blog so my sweet mother-in-law will stop calling and saying that she doesn't even know what her newest granddaughter looks like...which is like Kev. :)
