Welcome Baby Molly Marie

Daddy and Big Sis, so proud of the newest addition!

Annabelle loves holding her little sister... and she has almost quit calling Molly her "baby brother", she has only been saying that she was going to have a baby brother since I was a few months along... these things take time to get over :)

Baby Molly Marie.. like a little repeat, only more hair.

Last night to be prego's... I almost miss it ;)

Wow... what a week! It's hard for me to think that just last week I was at St. Johns hospital having a baby (or as Kev says, populating the world :)) What a blessing! She is healthy, weighing in at 8.8 lbs and 20.75" long. Labor went great, all the prayers were felt...wow, what a true blessing ~God is great.

Annabelle loves being a big sis and has helped out so much already. She helps to change her diaper and is great at getting things for me. We had some friends come over the other day and I told her that they were going to bring their little one. Annabelle was quick to make sure they WERE NOT going to take her little sister!! When she holds her, Annabelle's little feet start moving. That's how we know when she likes something.

I thought about how when Molly is 18, I'll be 50 and Kev will be 56. Do we want another one? If Molly were to be a boy, then we would probably be done, but now who knows??? I swore when I was pregnant that that was the last time, but things went so well and she is so good....

Thanks again for all the prayers! We are so grateful to have wonderful friends.

woo-hooo

soo exciting. Baby Partin will be here tomorrow! We welcome all prayers and will let everyone know if Baby is a boy or girl :) My Dr. appt went well today and he said that we could induce since the baby was looking healthy. I'll keep you posted, and post a last prego pic later.

A little this a little that...

This is how most of their pics end up. Ellie always smiling and AB is well...not.

Kristy scored on this pic.

Our little models!

Funny, we both made skirts for the girls... I like the longer look.

Kev and the girls at parent night... Syd's last parent night of her last year in high school. So sad...she's growing up, right before our eyes.

The catrett family came into town Halloween weekend so the girls could do some trick or treating... that was a bit of a mess, but so fun in the end. The girls finally got the hang of it and by 7:30 or so were ready to go home.

Baby Partin update:
Dr. said that things were going well and this one was measuring smaller than AB... I don't think so. We got to see baby on ultrasound and it measured 7.13lbs... give or take a pound. It looks so chubby. I can't wait to meet the little one. Just had an awesome massage today, we'll see if it produces a little one soon. Really we still have about 2 weeks.

Week in review...

This was Kev's idea... he's so crafty :) I just keep growing out, not down. Tomorrow is another checkup.

AB... this was last yrs costume, she wanted to put it on again. Her head is a bit too big for the hat now.

Syd and AB at Band Parent night... It was COLD but they had to wear their outfits. I guess you go kinda numb after awhile. This last weekend they had finals and were Grand Champs! Go Bixby... 3rd year in a row! I almost cried :)

The pumpkin patch... they had sold out of almost all their pumpkins, so this was the best pic.

So funny... This was at Chili's, I thought they might kill each other :) It all worked out in the end!

It's amazing how fast time flies. Seems like just yesterday Syd was dancing in the living room to Pretty Woman at the precious age of 7 or so, and now she is all grown up. Getting ready for college and having fun being a senior. Annabelle was just a little baby and now she is talking up a storm, can play by herself and sings like its her job. She feeds the dog, helps me with dishes and is ready to become a big sister.

I am so thankful for my friends... I am trying to get better at taking pics, but just forget. I had a good friend from Kansas City come visit for the weekend with her family. I miss her already! I can't believe we never took any pics together. Her little one is 19 mos old and a mover and shaker...I forgot how busy they are at that age. We fed the geese at the pond; he wasn't afraid of them even though they were almost as big as him!

I'm also thankful that the Lord is bringing my BFF since high school back home to Oklahoma. She is my peanut butter :) and has been in Arkansas WAY too long. Welcome home friend!

ALLLL RIGHT!!!

GO TEAM!!!

Ok so the appt yesterday went well I think. We found out that I am dilated to a 1... I know, you can be a 1 for weeks. But, for once, I am on the positive side. Kev said the Dr. just said that because I threatened him.. so rude. Anyway, we are getting ready to meet Baby Partin. Still no names picked out, a list is going in with us.

I'm big!! (or I feel that way anyway)

So I am now as big as I was when AB was born. 40" around and growing. It's getting hard to do just about anything! But I do love it... can't wait to meet the little booger. My official due date is Nov 22, but I'm thinking that I'll go early... more like praying!

Annabelle at Bixby Homecoming Parade.

This pic totally cracks me up because Syd is not and has never been in German, but is an officer in the German Club. I don't know how that works but it works... Go Syd!

Syd doing her thing on the field. She has a solo... it's pretty cool.

We have not done too much this week. Next Tues I have a Dr. appt so I'll find out how we are progressing. We went to a garage sale this weekend and picked up Hungry Hungry Hippos (Hippopotamus that Eat according to AB) and some play-doh stuff for $1 ea. and have played and played for hours.

mmmm....ice cream!

Out of 3 lunchboxes, the other 2 being girly tinkerbell and princess this is what she choose.

Yum Yum...

Yea... it was pretty much everywhere... Luckily I have a great soap that took it all out of her shirt.

Syd's new doo... it is so cute! We went to the fair to enjoy some fair food and people watching!

No, that's not dip in my mouth. I was digging out corn dog at the exact moment of the pic! Please note the large grease spot on my shirt... It looked pretty good all night long.

Oh my...

First football game of the season...

Syd's first last football game of her high school time :(

I'm telling you... she's a lover!

...Or a movie star (note the hat that is now in the atlantic ocean...with Aeriel)

What a day,

Ok, I'll admit it... I have a child that bites. I am sooooooo frustrated I can't see straight. She's my sweet little angel that has a problem. What to do?!? We have tried just about everything. She got sent home from school today....she's 2.5 years old!

Anyway, on a lighter note, yesterday we were at wal*mart and there was a young man who was putting up the carts that had an enormous fro...so Annabelle said, about 3 times, "Mommy he has CRAZY hair!"... oh my goodness, I was cracking up! She was right :) I wish I had a picture of his hair, it was quit out of control.

Catch up...

oh how I love the bathroom...

my little mouse

At the magic kingdom
Sweet dreams little one ;)

My favorite oompa-lumpa. Isn't he cute?!
Mickey loved on baby Partin
They all had their own unique poses :)
I can't figure out how to get this to work right...
Well, we made it back from Disney World and had a ton of fun. I can't say relaxing... except for the last few days. Disney kept us going...in fact, Annabelle skipped her naps 3 out of the 4 days we were there. She actually did VERY well! We spent the last 2 days at Melbourne beach with some wonderful friends that called on day 4 of Disney and asked if we would like to come early to their house, that they would love the company. We love them!! Disney had several scary moments for Annabelle. She can't tell the difference b/t real and pretend so I am still hating myself for some of the stuff we did... you know once you get on the ride, your committed! It's interesting how you never see the scary stuff until you have your 2yo there with you...screaming!

That was almost 2 weeks ago. Whoever said that 2 year olds don't remember... today when we were praying, she prayed that the pirates don't get her, and still wonders why the beach took her hat away. (I told her Aerial needed it for her collection...didn't go over too well) Kev and I set some rules before we left, first rule (of course) was to be patient with one another and not get grumpy when I had to go to the bathroom...which was after each individual event. It worked out well since Annabelle is potty training :) We got rained on only once, Kev kept me entertained with his Oompa-lumpa look. He had bought a nice rain pancho for this fishing and other activities awhile back but had never actually worn it until then. When he opened the pouch to put on the pancho, it was a large instead of XL, so we swapped. That is mine from when we went to a game years ago.

Update on pregnancy:

Today I measured on time and things are going nicely. He has me on every 2 weeks, baby's heartbeat is 150's... what do you think? Boy or girl?

Praying for great weather!!

We are leaving Wednesday for Disney world!! Woo-hoo....we think. There are several factors that would affect our plans. For one, the hurricanes, Hannah and Ike. Oh, how I hope they miss us. My friend said that her sister as well as several other Key West people have temporarily relocated to Orlando... luckily we have booked all our hotels (we have 3 different places we are staying). And two, we have a dr. appt tomorrow for Baby Partin and myself to make sure we are good to go!! Side note: Today Annabelle found a bag that Kev had put in her closet full of her baby things that were lingering in her room. She found one of her teething rattles and insisted that she was going to give it to her baby sister in two minutes... She repeated this even when Syd got home. Syd was quick to correct her, "Annabelle, you mean your baby brother?!" Then Annabelle said with great confidence, "This is for my baby sister!" One of them is right :)

Annabelle is sooo excited and ready to go to Disney. I bought a new princess book today so we could get to know a few more princesses before we go since we will be dining with them... it would be great to know "who" they are :) We would love prayers for us while we are gone for the weather and health and safety... oh and patience :) Also for Sweet Syd, staying behind doing tons of homework and a paper that is due on Monday. If anyone would like to volunteer their time to "proof" her paper, let me know ;) We are gone so she is a bit worried!

My newest project is 17 flags for Syd's color guard. I have them almost all cut out which is the easy part, sewing on the other hand... I'll put a pic on once I get one done, which is supposed to be tomorrow. I am chuckling to myself inside right now. Wish me luck and, again, if anyone has a sewing machine and wants to join me in a sewing circle, I would love the help!!

This past week..

Ellie came to stay with us for a week while her daddy healed from back surgery. She is 10 weeks older than AB... they so remind me of Kristy and I, constantly annoying each other!! They will be best of friends one day!
Our house is 90% finished! All the mason work is complete. We just have sod and to finish the sprinklers and we should be done!
A pic of my girls! They are soo pretty! This is a redo dinner night for Syd's b-day. We went to Outback for her birthday dinner last week, but it turned out aweful so, we tried again and had a much better time!
Here is a pic of me at 6 mos. along... 38" around, 1" bigger and 2 lbs. heavier than I was at this time with AB. Still feeling good, just big. :) The baby moves around a ton... seems like it is much busier than AB was. On the way back from Dallas this weekend we talked about possible names... yes, other than Thor and Buck ;) I think what we are going to do is to have a list of top 5 names for girls and boys and decide as a family what fits our "new addition". I have not had any cravings like I did last time. Kev said only 95 or so days left before baby arrives. I think we are ready...we'll see!
What a blessing to have this new little life. We are so ready to see our little one, what color hair and eyes it will have. It's crazy, I remeber praying specifically about AB's eye and hair color and personalty traits. This one, I have found myself struggling to keep up with the baby book. AB remembers more often to thank God for baby! I think I would be fine if this were our last... we'll see what God has in store for us.

Trip to the zooooo

Annabelle loves the zoo.... she prays for the zoo and the ligers and yions that say ROARRRR every night. She loves animals so much that we have passes to the zoo and aquarium and are going to WaltDisney world and staying in the animal kingdom! We try to do the zoo whenever it is nice outside and definately take advantage of member mornings on Sat. mornings. They let members in at 8 instead of 9. This weekend we went early... thats also the only way I can get Kev to join us! There aren't many animals out that early.... where do they put the animals like the giraffes? I thought they slept in the tall thing but they were nowhere to be found. We got to see the lions roar and go to the feather fest which if you have not been, really should go. It is a blast... for me. Kev is a little nervous around the birds. He calls them flying rats :) He is so silly. Annabelle isn't really sure what to think either, although she has gotten better about passing on her hat when she goes in.
She is holding Baby Stella, a girlfriends baby that we had a shower for this past weekend... so cute. Annabelle just kept kissing on her... she'll be a great big sis. The last pic is one that she took. She takes pics anytime she can get her little paws on the camera. She was so excited that her baby doll stroller showed up ;)

This is a silly video of her singing... she LOVES to sing but often mixes her song together. This is Jesus Loves Me and Twinkle Twinkle all in one!

Sweet Syds Bday!

Today is Syd's 17th birthday! She starts her senior year on Thurs and is just growing like a weed! I can't believe how fast time flies. She's an angel! It's amazing how she looks so much like a young beautiful woman and how to us she is still just a young pup. I remember my senior year in high school and how I thought I was so old... she is wise beyond her years in so many things and yet so silly at the same time. We don't have college plans just yet other than she wants to go to OU or Arkansas (new one as of today) maybe JBU. We'll see, we just keep praying for her and her life.
Meanwhile, AB is being a little terror... maybe it's because she has too much wax in her ears :) I'm just kidding about the terror part but it seems as though she has forgotten how to listen... amoung other things.
She is potty training and is doing really well, only uses a pull up for nap and bed time. So, we went to the mall and played in the play area and yes... you guessed it, she peeeed (peed? pee-ed?) all over the slide. It was really funny to see, now looking back, all the parents making a mad dash for their little ones so they didn't step in it. There was this saint of a woman that was sooo generous with her wipes as now I don't carry any. I was so amazed at the fact I wasn't mortified, God gave me the strength I needed. I cleaned up the slide and while I was doing so, she continued to play on other toys, which I cleaned as well. I only got funny looks from the dad's there... I think they were hoping the same wouldn't happen to them.
HAPPY B-DAY SYD :)

Update on the house :)

Here are some new pics of the house... It is getting close to being done...just a few more weeks. I think we have used up almost a whole cedar forest! A girlfriend of ours stained the trim and built in seat and it is really beautiful! We love how it is all coming together. I am going to use all of my available talents to make a cusion cover for the seat... we'll see how it goes :) The stain on the concrete is okay for us. We both had a different idea of what it was going to look like, but are happy with the outcome.
